Eight years in jewelry, GIA-trained in more than one discipline. Ali is certified in Jewelry Design; Lukas and Miguel are both certified in diamonds, and Lukas holds more than six GIA certificates on his own. Nobody works a Lukali piece without GIA training behind them, and every piece is made to order at the bench in Vista.

We started Lukali & Co in 2018.
The short version
We started Lukali & Co in Vista in 2018. Lukas designs in CAD, and we build the pieces at the bench, shoot the photos and run the site ourselves. We spent years in the LA jewelry district learning which casters, setters and platers to trust, and those are the ones we work with.
What we make
Custom pieces to order. Most take two to three weeks. Some take four days, some take a month, and we'll tell you which before we start.
Ready to ship
The chains and pendants that ship right away are a separate line. We choose these rather than make them: each one is picked by hand and checked before it ships, and we only carry pieces worth wearing.
Quality over everything
Ali is GIA certified in Jewelry Design, Lukas and Miguel in diamonds, and nobody else touches a Lukali piece without GIA training behind them. We see clients by appointment on West Vista Way in Vista.

Glow-in-the-dark enamel
Glow enamel is our signature. We lay it by hand, so every piece comes out a little different, reading as color in daylight before it turns to light in the dark.
We've made logo pieces in it for Kush Stock, The Cake House and Green Rush Nation, and brought it to our booth at Heat of the Night.

Designed first, then made
We work out every custom piece before we cut metal. CAD design is part of the service, so you approve it first.
Then we cast it, set the stones, and finish it by hand at the bench.

The longer story
We started Lukali & Co in Vista in 2018. Ali and Lukas built it from nothing, on one rule that hasn't changed: make jewelry worth keeping, and be straight about how it's made. Lukas designed in CAD, and Ali built the pieces, shot the photos, sold them and ran the site. For years we made the early drive into the LA jewelry district, learning the trade from the casters, setters and platers who've done it for decades.
The people around the bench are the reason any of this works. Lukas designs the pieces and is a GIA design-show winner. Miguel is a North County San Diego legend, a GIA-certified master of metal who casts and carves by hand and teaches at the San Diego Mineral & Gem Society in Balboa Park. He and Lukas are both certified in diamonds. Hector came up learning every side of the craft. Ali is GIA certified in Jewelry Design, and he and Miguel are recognized by the Women's Jewelry Association. Nobody works a Lukali piece without GIA training behind it.
Glow-in-the-dark enamel is where we made our name. Businesses send us a logo and we make it glow: Kush Stock, The Cake House, Green Rush Nation, Smash Dash Burgers. Every one is a flag as much as a piece of jewelry.
We do this because a piece is more than metal and stones. It's what you reach for every day, what you hand down, what reminds you where you came from. Every piece we make has a reason, and the reason is personal. We're not chasing trends. We're building something that lasts.

The studio is above a CBD shop at 1945 West Vista Way, Unit C, in Vista. It's not a store and nothing sits on a shelf, so we see people by appointment only.
For a custom piece, bring a sketch or a photo if you have one. We can change the stone or the metal on an existing design, or build something from scratch.
Lukali & Co is a licensed business with a real address.
Shipping
How long it takes
Ready-to-ship pieces ship within a week of ordering. Most custom work takes two to three weeks. Some pieces take four days, some take a month, and we'll tell you which before we start.
Orders of $200 or more ship free; under that, shipping is $10, by USPS Priority Mail within the contiguous United States. UPS options are at checkout, and every order ships with tracking.
Glow-in-the-dark enamel
Our signature
Glow enamel reads as color in daylight. It charges in the light, and when the room goes dark it glows. We lay it by hand, so no two pieces come out exactly the same.
Commissions
Kush Stock, The Cake House and Green Rush Nation all wear their logos in our glow enamel. Got a logo or an idea? It can glow too.
