Lukali & Co. — Jewelry with Soul, Built by Hand
Founded in 2018 by Ali Assi and Lukas, Lukali & Co. was born from a vision: to create jewelry that carries more than weight — it carries meaning.
Today, Ali Assi runs Lukali & Co. on his own, out of our Vista, California studio. He designs it, makes it, photographs it, and writes it — old-world craftsmanship with a modern edge, where every link, claw, and casting on an in-house piece is shaped by hands that know the craft inside and out.
Ali is GIA certified in Jewelry Design. Nothing here is mass-produced; every in-house piece is built to last, physically and emotionally.
💎 Our Process
Every custom piece begins with a conversation between design and material, idea and technique. We use traditional methods — lost-wax casting, hand engraving, stone setting — paired with contemporary tools and high standards. Precious metals, natural and lab-grown gemstones, and fine enamel are inspected by a GIA-certified jeweler before they go into a piece.
Our ready-to-wear pieces are a separate line — curated and quality-checked, sold under the Lukali name rather than made at our bench. We're always clear about which is which.

Lukali has grown with the help of people Ali has worked alongside over the years — among them Lukas, the co-founder who shaped many of the brand's early designs, and Miguel, John, and Luca, who lent their craft to particular pieces and projects. Their work is their own; at Lukali, the bench and the one GIA certification are Ali's.

Shipping Information
Custom and studio pieces are made to order at our Vista, California studio. When you start a custom piece we scope the timeline with you — usually around 2–3 weeks, and never a guaranteed date.
Ready-to-wear designs are curated and inspected before they're listed. Whichever you choose, we keep you posted from first message to finished piece. ✨
